Let’s Size Things Up

Size 1

Conqueror offers many opportunities for customization. Do you know the size requirements?   Most sizes can be found in the Conqueror manual or the BES X Marketing Kits.  However with the recent birth of Lane Ordering, I felt it would be helpful to have the sizes in one convenient location.

Lane Order Categories: 284 pixels X 170 pixels jpeg or png

Lane Order Item Price Key Icons: 284 pixels X 170 pixels jpeg or png

Signature Welcome Screens and Grids: 1280 pixels X 720 pixels jpeg

MMS Ads: 1280 pixels X 720 pixels jpeg

Web Reservations Scenario: 133 pixels X 100 pixels png

Web Reservations Price Keys: 60 pixels X 60 pixels png or jpg

Financial Reports: 1000 pixels (width) x 2330 pixels (height) 24 bit bmp or 2:33 aspect ratio

Receipts (header and footer): 400 x 400 pixels 24 bit bmp

Prices Background Report/Prized Background Report: 24 bit bmp image depending on paper size. Image will be resized to occupy the central part of the paper. The aspect ratio is dependent on paper size.  Below are two standard examples:

A4 0.77 (width compared with height).

Letter 0.86 (width compared with height)

Invoices header: 510 pixels X 456 pixels 24 bit bmp.

All report images must be located in the QDesk/Print/Images folder and be 24 bit bmp format.

If a picture is bigger or smaller Conqueror will automatically resize to the proper aspect ratio. However, to guarantee the best results, it is recommended to start with a photo with the correct aspect ratio (width compared to height)

All Web Reservation scenario images must be located in the QDesk/Graphics/Web folder and be jpeg or png format

All report images must be located in the QDesk/Print/Images folder and be 24 bit bmp format.

All other custom images should be stored in QDesk/Graphics/ folder created for each type image (price key icons, lane order menu categories, etc) for easy access.

Take a few minutes to size up Conqueror and make sure your center is using professional images that reflect the look and feel you want the customer to see. Remember…a picture is worth a thousand words!!
