Honoring Those Who Served

The United States, since its birth in 1776, has fought in dozens of major wars and been militarily involved in hundreds of others with every generation witnessing combat in one form or another.  Tens of millions of Americans have unselfishly suited up for the armed forces, including 31 US Presidents.  Over 1 million Americans have died for our country.

Given veterans importance in U.S. history, it is not surprising that they have played a sacred role in the public’s consciousness.  Routinely honored at sporting events and public gatherings and on patriotic holidays, most especially Veterans Day, observed each year on November 11th.  The message surrounding veterans can be inspirational knowing these men and women are, and were, willing to sacrifice their lives for other Americans.

“Veterans know better than anyone else the price of freedom, for they’ve suffered the scars of war.  We can offer them no better tribute than to protect what they have won for us.” Ronald Reagan

Although 2020 has been a frustrating and trying year, Veterans Day is the perfect opportunity to show the community that even despite a pandemic, we will never forget our veterans, who share the same struggles we all face but many of which silently battle other struggles.   Treat them to a special offer on Wednesday and show your support.  This can be a discount or a special package just for veterans.  Download the free MMS Static Ad and Social Media or Email Post and add your offer as a way to say thanks for your service.

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.” John F. Kennedy
